The Canadian Department of National Defence launched a call for tenders to acquire a fleet of nearly 1,600 logistics trucks. Known as the Medium Support Vehicle System (MSVS), this project enhances mobility during missions and operations. To compete for this strategic $1.5 billion initiative—including $50 million allocated to in-service support—Mack Defense was seeking a Canadian partner with proven expertise in the field. Triode emerged as a key partner, equipped to support them end-to-end and help accelerate their execution.
Even before the contract was awarded, the program’s complexity required rigorous coordination among all stakeholders. The execution pace was intense, and the project unfolded within a highly demanding framework. Since 2012, Triode has been working closely with Mack Defense at every key stage of the MSVS project’s development and operational support, awarded by the Canadian Department of National Defence.

Support for final design, validation testing, and preparation of all
required documentation for vehicle commissioning.
Establishment of a complete manufacturing ecosystem capable of assembling
approximately 1,600 military trucks.
Deployment of an optimized supplier and logistics network to ensure
quality, production pace, and full traceability across the supply chain.
Ongoing coordination of the program, including vehicle delivery, soldier
training, and development of a nationwide partner network.
Active field support for vehicles in Canada and Latvia, covering
maintenance, recalls, repairs, and parts management — all designed to ensure uninterrupted operational continuity.
